World Toilet Day is held every year on 19 November. It has been an annual United Nations Observance since 2013. World Toilet Day celebrates toilets and raises awareness of the 3.6 billion people living without access to safely managed sanitation.
Ryan's Well Foundation has built over 1300 safe latrines and fostered hygiene education to developing countries since Ryan Hreljac founded the organization when he was 6 years old. He raised funds for one well in Africa; his story went worldwide and he was featured on Oprah and other international media. We promote safe practices and clean water; with a strong focus on equality for women who bear the brunt of the responsibility and often have no proper menstrual education.
Ryan is now Executive Director of the Foundation, and is available for media interviews.
RWF is having a 24 hour Facebook fundraiser this Saturday.
