Ryan's Day - July 27

Ryans DayJuly 27th marks the anniversary of Ryan's first trip to Angolo Primary School - the site of this first well. During his visit, Ryan was able to see first-hand the well he helped build, meet his future brother - Jimmy - and join the town in a huge celebration. In gratitude, the town named July 27th "Ryan's Day" and now each year on that day (sometimes even for a couple of days), students take time off school to volunteer in their own town and surrounding communities.

It's amazing to see how giving someone access to clean water allows them to give their time to others.
